Crafting
Each piece is handcrafted in our French workshop with care and precision. Finishes are chosen based on function, environment, and aesthetic preference. We offer several options: raw steel, hand-patinated, or powder-coated.
Powder coating is a specialized process for metal surfaces. A fine powder is electrostatically applied to the material, then cured in an oven. This solvent-free technique ensures exceptional durability and offers protection against weather, UV rays, and micro-scratches, all while being environmentally respectful.
Creators
ATELIER26 was founded in 2023 by Anne Mugnerot and Lucas Ballois, a creative duo united by a shared passion for design, materials, and craftsmanship. Anne, a designer with a cross-disciplinary background, draws inspiration from architecture and the natural world. She explores balance, simplicity, and the subtle play between light, mass, and void to create calm, essential spaces. Lucas, a metal craftsman for over ten years, brings steel to life with precision and sensitivity. His approach gives sculptural depth to this raw material, turning it into lasting, tactile, and refined objects.
